leather and crystal ashtray

ashtray, France, 1970s.
Outer structure in heat-moulded stamped leather, square form with rounded corners and undulated rim. Inner insert in pressed crystal with a star-ray decoration and central glass flower motif (crystal is removable for cleaning).
The two materials are designed as a system.
