Blue crackle blown glass vase

Blown crackle glass vase, Bohemian or Central European manufacture, 1950s–1970s.
Tapered body on a disc base, flared rim. The glass, mass-coloured in cornflower blue, is worked using the crackle technique: the molten piece is plunged into cold water and immediately re-blown, creating a permanent internal network of micro-fractures.
